The GP's at our Surgery are continuously keeping up with medical advancements to remain committed to your care. Surgery 82 is an autonomous practice consisting of 8 Doctors and 2 Registrars, we also supervise UWA and Notre Dame Medical Students with the patients permission.

We have a comprehensive treatment room managed by our friendly highly trained nurses performing a varied range of up to date medical treatments. Our caring Administration staff endeavour to offer you an appointment with your regular doctor when available or alternatively with another doctor. Patient confidentiality is a high priority at Surgery 82.

Dr Lucas Creswell

Dr Lucas Cresswell moved to Busselton in 2010 to complete his fellowship training. On completion he decided to stay here and is now the practice principal. Luke is originally from Tasmania and studied in Hobart at the University of Tasmania.

After graduation he moved to the UK from 2003-2007 where he worked in emergency medicine all over the UK. He now works as a general practitioner caring for all age groups and has an interest in men's health, mental health and skin cancer.

He has obtained a Professional and Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and is available for skin checks and skin cancer removals.

Dr Jessica Price

Dr Jessica Price completed her medical degree in Dublin, Ireland. Since arriving in Australia in 2016, she has worked in several Perth hospitals in areas such as general medicine, gynaecology, paediatrics and addiction medicine.

She moved to the South West in early 2021 to work in general practice.

Dr Alan Lim

Dr Alan Lim recently moved to Busselton in 2020 to pursue a career in general practice. Alan is originally from Malaysia and completed his studies at the University of New South Wales.

After graduating Alan has worked regionally in North Queensland and most recently Fiona Stanley Hospital. Alan has a special interest in child health and has completed the Sydney Child Health Program.

He works full time and is available for consultation from Monday to Friday.

Dr Emma Kempster

Dr Emma Kempster Works Part Time at Surgery 82. Emma completed her medical degree in Leeds, England and has been working in South West Australia since 2014.

Emma consults on a wide variety of medical issues including women's health and paediatrics.

Emma consults all day Tuesday and Thursday.

Dr Jikol Friend

Dr Jikol Friend is a GP Registrar born and raised in the South West and graduated from the University of Western Australia. She has broad interest in wholistic general practice and is available for consultations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

She has a particular training in Child Health and Youth Friendly Doctor training. She also has an interest in Women's Health (Including ANtenatal / Postnatal), travel medicine, minor procedures / skin cancers and mental health.

If unable to find her at the practice she will probably surfing or enjoying the local food and wine.

Dr Heather Brand

Dr Heather Brand is a GP Obstetrician, who graduated from the University of Western Australia.

She has particular interest and experience in women's and children's health. This includes contraception (including insertion and removal of Mirena IUDs and Implanon), sexual health, menopause, pregnancy and care including delivery of your baby and follow up care.

Dr Brand is a youth friendly doctor and happy to provide care for children and teenagers.

Dr Brand is available for consultation Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Dr Melidya Kosasih

Dr Melidya Kosasih completed her medical degree in Sydney at the University of New South Wales.

After graduation, she has worked as a junior doctor in several hospitals in Perth in areas including obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency medicine and general medicine.

She has recently moved to the South West region to pursue a career in general practice. Mel consults on patient of all age groups and has an interest in women's and children's health.

She works full time and is available for consultation from Monday to Friday.

Dr Rachel Hunter

Dr Rachel Hunter completed her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 2016 from the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle.

She has worked at a number of major hospitals as a junior Doctor including Royal Perth Hospital, Armadale Hospital and St John of God Midland hospital before relocating to Geraldton with her family.

Here she spent time working in paediatrics at Geraldton Regional Hospital where she completed her Diploma of Child Health before entering General Practice.

Rachel enjoys the breadth of general practice with special interest in paediatrics, sexual health, chronic disease and preventative health.
